Well adapted to open field growing conditions, Doru 16 sweet pepper is similar to one of our best-selling pepper varieties, Kandil. However, it has higher yield and its light yellow fruits of Doru 16 are wider and longer by about an inch. Fruits turn red when seeds are mature. Thin flesh. Excellent flavor. We love to offer a diverse range of dolma (i.e. stuffing) pepper varieties, and Doru 16 is a long-time favorite on our farm.

Keep the soil moist for quick germination. Make sure to keep the young hot pepper seedlings under good light to have strong plants with sturdy, healthy stems and leaves. Transplant after last frost in well-drained, fertile soil enrichened with compost and other amendments. Feed your hot pepper plants with liquid fertilizer once every two weeks.
