65-70 days. Runner bean with gorgeous peachy-pink blossoms. Highly ornamental but also fresh green pods are edible. Very large seeds have lavender seed coat with black speckles. When dry, seeds can be used in soups and chilis. Long vines need trellising to get the best view out of them in summer gardens.
Our current seed stock was grown by Lindsay Klaunig of Trouvaille Farm in Ohio. Photos by Kara Olsen.
