We are thrilled to offer seeds for this old heirloom melon that has been cared for by the people of Sakarya, Turkey, for generations. Named after the fertile Pamukova Valley, this seed graciously grows productive plants with sweet and fragrant fruits that are ready to harvest mid-season.
Our current seed stock was grown by seed saver and farmer Tom Wahlberg of Iowa.

These did not mature.

Soft texture when fully ripe– not musky, a little hint of banana flavor. Very interesting. Our vine stayed small, but it was a survivor of herbicide drift early in the season.
