While Lolaz is a traditional name for black-eye pea in Eastern and Southeastern Turkey, this particular variety comes from Antep, culinary capital of Turkey. Plants have half-runner growing habit and are very productive. Seed color varies from cream to light to dark brown. Boiled seeds of Lolaz is typically used in protein-packed delicious wraps along with parsley, scallions, mint, fresh hot peppers and radishes.
Our current seed stock was grown in Morgantown, WV.
