Phonetically pronounced: bamya tohumu
A traditional variety from Bayramiç of Çanakkale, Turkey, Bayramiç White produces long and pale pods with great flavor. It is best to pick smooth, spineless pods when they reach 3-4 inches. Great choice for stews.
Our current seed stock was grown by Chris Smith of The Utopian Seed Project in North Carolina.
