60 days. One of our favorite Turkish lettuce varieties. Plants have large, picture-perfect heads with buttery, crunchy leaves and excellent flavor. We think Turkish Large is somewhere between a butterhead and looseleaf lettuce. A fun-to-grow lettuce that does best in spring and fall.
Our current seed stock was grown by Hank Keogh and Jo Erikson of Avoca Seed in Corvallis, OR. Avoca Seed is certified organic by Oregon Tilth.

Although there are bolt-resistant varieties, spring and fall are the best seasons to grow lettuce for best eating quality.
