50-55 days. Batavian/French crisp type lettuce with semi-open heads. Crunchy leaves form light green color and reddish tips. Flavor is excellent and never bitter in our experience. Sierra is one of the most heat & bolt resistant lettuce varieties we have ever grown. Heads hold very well even in the high heat of summer. This is a great choice for succession planting spring through summer.
Our current seed stock was grown by Hank Keogh and Jo Erikson of Avoca Seed in Corvallis, OR.
