Garlic Bulbs, Russian Red Hardneck

Russian Red is a flavorful hardneck garlic with marbled purple stripes and large bulbs that produce 5-6 cloves. Spicy flavor when eaten raw, strong flavor that finishes sweet, when cooked. Well adapted to cold climates, and survives damp winter soil conditions at a higher productivity rate than many other varieties. Stores well over six months post-harvest.
