Description

Moghadam Marbled Stripe is one of the two hardneck garlic varieties that was stewarded and selected by Iranian American seed saver Jamshid Moghadam (CO) from 1990’s until his passing in 2019. Since then this beautiful garlic has been stewarded by his farmer and seed saver son, Sasha Moghadam in Hushum, WA.

Bulbs of Moghadam Marbled Stripe offer 6-8 large, single cloves with purple, striped bulb wrappers. Consistently great, mild flavor which is elevated when roasted. Excellent storage life, little heat.

Our seed garlic was grown with organic practices by Sasha Moghadam in Husum, Washington. Also check out Moghadam Rocambole, the other garlic variety Sasha stewards year after year. We ship garlic with USPS Ground Advantage. Sorry, we can’t ship to Arizona, Canada, Hawaii, Idaho, Oregon, Washington or U.S. Territories.
