Çilli Kız is a very productive barbunya-type snap bean variety with strikingly beautiful, dark purple stripes on long pods. These dark purple stripes repeat on seeds as well. Unlike other barbunya-type beans that are used for pilaki recipes, this one is traditionally grown for its fresh pods.
