Aker’s West Virginia is a heavy producer of large, oblate fruits with a robust , “old-fashioned” full tomato flavor.
Deep red color of the fruits stand out in our field. It was also fascinating to see many fruits evenly ripen in clusters.
In addition, we were impressed with the cracking resistance of this variety in open field growing conditions. As the name indicates, this is another great tomato from West Virginia.
