Taste winner purple tomato, Carbon is bountiful and produces large fruits. Fruits are more flat than round. The flavor is complex and rich. It has all the traits an heirloom tomato would, including concentric cracking and cat-facing not on all fruits but some. Would this keep us from growing Carbon over and over again? Absolutely not! Why? Because flavor is our driving force in the field!

Transplant after last frost in well-drained, fertile soil. Feed with liquid fertilizer once every two weeks. Water regularly especially in flower stage. Mulch and always water at plant base to minimize disease. Trellis indeterminate varieties with long vines and prune leaves if the plant canopy becomes too thick for improved air circulation.
