Originally from an Amish community near Lancaster, PA, Amish Paste tomato is a heavy yielder with large fruits that can weigh as much as 12 oz. This variety produces sauces with outstanding flavor. Fruits taste great off the vine as well.
Fruit shape shows variability from elongated oxheart to plum. Indeterminate plants offer a late harvest but consistently give until frost.
Our current stock seed was grown by the farmers at The Utopian Seed Project in North Carolina.

Transplant after last frost in well-drained, fertile soil. Feed with liquid fertilizer once every two weeks. Water regularly especially in flower stage. Mulch and always water at plant base to minimize disease. Trellis indeterminate varieties with long vines and prune leaves if the plant canopy becomes too thick for improved air circulation.

Nothing wrong with the seeds, but we had a very hot, early summer which limited the output of the plants.
