Halep Karası is one of the best-flavored eggplant we have ever grown. Beautiful, long, dark purple/black fruits have creamy, sweet flavor and high flesh yield. Plants have high yields and a long harvest period. Very few seeds in fruits.

This is a multi-purpose eggplant, and traditionally used for frying, stuffing and in stews. A mid-season variety shared by communities in Northern Syria and Southern Turkey.
