This is a low-acid tomato with excellent flavor. One of the earliest purple varieties we have ever grown. Productive plants are loaded with medium to large beefsteak tomatoes. Margaret Curtain is an heirloom from New Zealand and reported to be grown for over 100 years. Our foundation seeds came from the tomato enhusiast Darlene Starr. We are one of the very first commercial sources that offered Margaret Curtain in the U.S.!

This was one of the earliest tomatoes to ripen and, was delicious as well as very pretty.
