Description

45-50 days. Lactuca sativa var. angustana. Egyptian traditional celtuce that looks like a bolting lettuce and is specifically grown for its 12-15″ crunchy, sweet stem. Pointy leaves can also be harvested like regular lettuce leaves. Plants usually begin bolting in 3-4 weeks after transplanting and stems can be harvested within two weeks that point forward.
