Spicy green which adds a lot of flavor to pizzas and salads. Arugula withstands cool temperatures. Seeds are very easy to germinate and grow. Native to Mediterranean Region and typically eaten fresh to accompany fish in Western Turkey. We also love making tomato salad with fresh arugula leaves, lemon, olive oil and a good old pink tomato. Harvest in 35-40 days when leaves are 2-3 inches.
Ignore any seed catalogs that market this flavorful green as “basic” or “not fancy.” Arugula is amazing and flavorful!
