Tasty, easy to grow. Good fresh or frozen.
After a three season search for Appalachian pink tip seeds I was excited by heavy pod and bean production, but disappointed it was not the most flavorful local pink tip I was hoping for. With a pale yellow and slightly pink tipped pod, it was a round white bean with less flavor than what I’d wanted. A hearty soup bean I enjoyed, just not what I was expecting.
These seeds did really well in my growing environment (Lexington, KY) – I was able to save numerous seeds from this variety.
