50-55 days. Grocery store iceberg lettuce has bad reputation in the U.S. for lacking flavor and nutrients. We want to help change this narrative by offering Reine des Glaces in our catalog. This is an amazing crisphead lettuce with serrated leaves, crunch as well as excellent flavor. Great choice for wedge salads as the leaves and core of the heads beautifully hold salad sauces. One of our favorite lettuce varieties in the garden.
Our current seed stock was grown by Hank Keogh and Jo Erikson of Avoca Seed in Corvallis, OR. Avoca Seed is certified organic by Oregon Tilth.
