Celeriac is native to the Mediterranean region. Celeriac plant culture is same as celery’s plant culture. In one traditional Turkish recipe, sliced celeriac roots are cooked with carrots (sometimes potatoes as well) for a vegetarian, olive-oil based meal. Also compliments lamb in stews.
