Blue Pear

Although we appreciate the motivation behind breeding blue tomatoes and agree that many of them have beautiful colors and patterns, we think that they usually are bland in flavor. Bred by the Russian plant breeder, Ruslan Doohov, Blue Pear tasted much better than many other blue tomatoes we grew in the past. Plants showed very good late blight resistance in our field, and kept producing loads of fruits until frost. Tall, indeterminate plants needs good support. Our search for good flavor in blue tomatoes will continue!
