Very flavorful greasy bean from Haywood County, NC. Greasy beans typically lack the fuzz of commonly known bean varieties and have glossy skin. Pink-tip Greasy pods develop pink tips on flower end when mature. Plants have pole habit and are very productive. Traditionally used to make leather britches in Appalachia.
