Kırmızı Göbekli Bobo is one of the most beautiful beans we have ever seen. A signature variety of Bursa, Turkey, this shelling bean is also known as İnkaya. Large seeds are commonly used to make delicious pilaki, a very common way of cooking barbunya-type beans in Turkey. Typically sold by small farmers in fresh pods, ready to be shelled in Bursa’s farmers’ markets. Plants need trellising and are very productive.
Many thanks to my cousin, Ayşegül Küçükgöçmen, who sourced this variety through one of her friends in Bursa after I searched for it for years.
Packet has 20 seeds
