Kandil is a staple stuffing pepper of Turkish cuisine. Thin walls and small size of this very old heirloom makes it a great choice for stews. Fruits are crunchy and flavorful, and when they are cooked for a stuffing recipe, they perfectly absorb the stew flavors through their thin walls. Plants are prolific and early.
