Description
Seed crop 2015
According to the seed collector Jere Gettle, this variety first appeared in his garden among other Cherokee Purple plants which are expected to have regular leaves. This potato leaf strain of Cherokee Purple was very productive for us. Although many fruits weighed around 1 lb, we also harvested smaller fruits in the range of 6-10 oz. Fruits are very meaty and have great flavor. We acquired our original seed stock from SSE member Martin W. Longseth.
