Bismil plants grow vigorously and have a large canopy. Dark purple/black fruits are wide and can reach 10″. Flesh has an excellent, sweet flavor. Fruits have very few seeds. Traditionally used in kebaps and originally from Diyarbakır where summer is dry and hot. Mainly stewarded by Kurdish communities. Late variety.
